A highly regarded South Manchester law firm is looking to expand its leading Private Client department with an experienced Associate Solicitor. This opportunity has arisen due to a continued increase in work and recent team movement, and the firm is keen to find someone who can hit the ground running and provide support on HNW and complex matters.
You’ll join a team of seven fee earners, including partners and senior lawyers, working on a broad caseload of wills, trusts, probate and Court of Protection matters. The work is varied and interesting, including large estates, taxable trusts, and matters for high-net-worth individuals. You’ll benefit from a clear progression framework, hands-on training where needed, and hybrid working to suit your lifestyle.
The firm will also consider applications from more experienced private client solicitors looking to step into a senior associate role.
Who we’re looking for
- Private client solicitor with 3–6 PQE (more senior applicants also welcome)
- Confident managing a diverse private client caseload including wills, probate, trusts and LPA matters
- Some experience with high-net-worth or complex estates and trust work
- A proactive team player who values collaboration and quality client service
Salary & benefits
- £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
- Full-time or part-time considered (3 or 4 days per week)
- Hybrid working – typically 2 days WFH, with potential for 3 days for the right person
- Clear progression framework and career development support
