The team in Leeds is looking to grow, and there’s an opportunity here for the right person – whether you’re just starting out or already a panel member – to shape your role and take your career to the next level.
You’ll be supported to develop your expertise in care proceedings or private children work (including some divorce and finance if that’s of interest), with clear progression pathways in place – including help towards children panel membership and future partnership.
You’ll be working in a genuinely collaborative team alongside experienced care solicitors and advocates, with strong secretarial support, and the freedom to build your own caseload in a way that suits your working style. There’s a strong emphasis on innovation and rewarding good work – people are trusted, given space to grow, and paid fairly for what they deliver.
Who we’re looking for
- Care solicitors from NQ up to senior level
- Able to manage a caseload independently and carry out your own advocacy
- Comfortable with legal aid work and familiar with running care or children matters
- Positive, collaborative and self-motivated – a team player with a can-do attitude
Salary & Benefits
- £32,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and contribution
- 2 days from home
- Clear development plan to move up in title
